New Novel Coming

Last year I wrote a series of pieces centered on a fellow who found a bottle on the seashore, rubbed it, and had a djinn on his hands. A djinn who liked gin, so together they founded the Djinn Mill, a 6-room building with 500 residence suites (a djinn has to be a master of topology, doncha know–it’s all in the math) and a bar of course. I soon knew what I was on about and named it The Last Masters. It came in at 40K, so a short novel.

A couple of weeks ago, I sent it off to John Betancourt at Wildside Press. He has reprinted much of my older work over the years (see https://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Eastons-GMO-Future-MEGAPACK-ebook/dp/B01M687KMG and https://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Eastons-Love-Songs-MEGAPACK%C2%AE-ebook/dp/B01N3NR1Z4).

Today the contract arrived. Once I know the schedule, I will let you all know.

I must say that there is considerable satisfaction in this. I’ll be 77 next month, and my first publications appeared in 1971, half a century ago. And I’m still a writer. Woo-Hoo!
